This stage adaptation of Agatha Christie’s masterpiece was written by Ken Ludwig. An eclectic group of passengers boards the Orient Express in Istanbul at the beginning of a three-day journey to Calais. A passenger is found dead on the second day. Stranded by heavy snow, the Orient Express is now the scene of a terrible murder. Hercule Poirot sets out to solve this seemingly unsolvable crime.

Jim Johnson
Jim Johnson is delighted to direct Murder on the Orient Express. He has been directing, designing, and acting for nearly twenty years.
Memorable directing credits include Clue On Stage, Our Town, Guys 'r Dolls, and Willy Wonka the Musical. Memorable design credits include Clue On Stage, The Secret Garden, Bye Bye Birdie, The Nerd, and Driving Miss Daisy.
Unlike some guest directors of Sheboygan Theater Company, Jim is not a resident of New York. He did, however, see Cats at the Winter Garden Theater a very long time ago. In fact, T.S. Elliot attended that same performance. His favorite author is Agatha Christie, his favorite mode of travel is railway, and his favorite seafood is red herring.
He is grateful to his wife Susan and his son Ben for their amazing support, advice, and encouragement. He hopes you enjoy the show!
